When the summer season arrives in early May, we set off with our cows to the mountain pastures.
The transhumance is done strictly on foot, with intermediate stops in the pastures along the way so that no one gets tired or suffers from the journey. It takes about a month to cover the distance of about 15 km between Maiesso and Esigo.
